JAMB CAPS LANGUAGE (EXPLAINED)

 

👉 *Ahead of 2023/2024 Admission Through Caps which will be Kicking off soon, get abreast with these information;*

1. "NO O LEVEL UPLOADED" :- When you click on "My O level" Tab on your JAMB CAPS and you see "NO O LEVEL UPLOADED" it means your o level is not on JAMB CAPS and it's not on JAMB database. NO ADMISSION WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU. SO GO AND UPLOAD YOUR RESULT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

2. "NOT ADMITTED" :- If you see the phrase "NOT ADMITTED" under the "Admission Status" on your CAPS it means two things: (i) admission into your aspiring course have not started  or (ii) you were not considered for admission by your school.

3. "Admission in progress, check back later" :- when you see "Admission in progress,check back later" under "Admission status" on your JAMB CAPS it means you are among the aspirants being enlisted for admission, your admission is 70% assured.

4. "Congratulations,you have been offered admission.." :- once you see "Congratulations,you have been offered...." under "Admission status" on your JAMB CAPS it means your Admission is 100% done. You can now accept your admission below it.😁

5. Market place: market place is a tab on JAMB CAPS where those that where not offered Admission in their first choice school are given an alternative admission offer by some schools (mostly affiliated colleges of Education and private polytechnics and Universities). The offer will be sent to them asking them to accept or reject the offer. If the aspirant accepts the offer he will automatically be enlisted to be considered for admission in that school. Aspirants that rejects their original admission on JAMB CAPS intentionally or unintentionally also fall into "Marketplace"

6. Transfer Approval Tab: there is also 'Transfer Approval' tab on CAPS, the school may recommend another course/dept for a qualified aspirant if the choice course is filled up. ( professional course aspirant usually experience cus of huge competition)

8. After acceptance of admission on CAPS, return back to the page where you where asked to input your JAMB REG NO and click on "Check admission Status" to reconfirm your Admission.

9. After which you go and print your JAMB Admission Letter two copies (one for your institution and the other for yourself). They will be used during clearance.

Pay the school acceptance fee and

Wait for school Admission letter
